Mason Vietti grew up in small-town Kansas and always adored the smaller aspects of life. With a passion for film and background in journalism, Mason likes to shine light on whatever stories he sees.
Now that he finds himself in a community of like-minded artists, he's never not creating.
After graduating from Wichita State University with a degree in the media arts, Mason had built himself a promising portfolio. As he continues to dive deeper into the world of film he cannot be more excited to utilize the skills he's learned in class and on set to make each one his best project yet!
Mason's film journey
Throughout the majority of 2022, Mason aimed his focus on just one project, his directorial debut The Bhen-Jah-Man. He was co-director with his friend Emerson Welsh.
With a release right before Halloween, the horror-comedy struck the right cord with audiences and garnered him attention from his fellow peers, eager to see where he went next.
In early 2023, Mason was chosen to be one of the four directors of Wichita State's anthology film, Compendium. He directed Blister, the second chapter. Shortly after, his first festival run began at the BisonBison Student Film Festival. His film, Reminiscence, was selected to be shown.
Participating in a 36-hour film race presented his team with an honorable mention as well as a win for "Best Score / Soundtrack."
Throughout that spring and into summer, Mason worked on his next two films, Together? Together and Doc's Guide to Homicide. This period of experimenting is where Mason found himself truly falling in love with the art of directing.

During his last semester of college, he produced his thesis film, Jimmy Trigger and the Mystery Box, which experienced a short midwestern festival run the following year.
That brings us to today, where Mason is actively continuing his journey into the film world as he continues production on his next array of projects.
